If you’ve been reading here for a while you know how much I like Miley Cyrus. It’s a big running gag with Jessie and Jamison. I went to go see the 3D concert in the movies theater and that spawned a trip to a Florida Wal-Mart at midnight while I was on vacation.

As some of you may know the DVD of the concert came out this week. Well, I needed a few pairs of anaglyph 3D glasses. Jessie and I were going to meet up for dinner around Times Square. So I hopped a subway with the notion that I might end up with the home video.

As I’m crossing the bridge I sent a text to Jessie to meet me at Virgin Megastore.

Well, tada! I am now the happy owner of a brand new Best of Both Worlds home video edition and four pairs of 3D glasses (which I needed to test some new 3D I’m doing).

However, we all have our little obsessions. Jessie is now the proud owner of the Chuck Norris fact book. Over crab cakes and iced tea I was treated to a formal reading of this masterwork of modern myth. Jessie is quite pleased and I think we both learned some more about Chuck, the nature of the world and maybe… just maybe… ourselves.
