A Word on Emissary

Emissary is being compared to Sanctuary a lot. They have one thing in common, they’re initially being worked for the web. The issue I take is that our show is not some CG rollercoaster demon-slaying adventure. It’s a gritty New York story that feels more like a thriller than a Doctor Who episode. I love sci-fi in all of its forms, so don’t get me wrong… I’m not saying one is going to be better than the other, it’s just like comparing apples and oranges. I can’t be happier for the Sanctuary crew and we’re not trying to compete. If you look at our casting, these people were chosen because they bring the right feel to their roles and their fans are expecting to see them doing what they do best. Unfortunately for the media, that’s not Sanctuary, it’s Emissary.
