Blogging is an awful format for creative people. It really is. It shines with journalists (read: fact writers) and commentators (read: editorial opinion jockeys), but I really am failing to see the point of blogging for writers, directors, or artisans (outside of tutorializing or grand-standing). I read some of the stuff on technorati’s top lists and it’s an awful of lot of news and viewpoints. I’ll never make it on a top list like that because I don’t have a lot of either.
