Wow. That’s a heck of a title isn’t it? Over the weekend I was researching some video sharing alternatives for Illusion’s broadband needs and I just got floored by the amount of ill-informed teenagers using the word “cum” to mean its phonetic equal (come). I’m seeing video comments like “ALL FANS NEED 2 CUM TO DIS CONCERT”. Someone, anyone, please tell these kids that they’re writing statements that are hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

“People Are Idiots” is my new regular column exposing why I’m slipping ever deeper in to misanthropy. In this column I repost video clips from online sharing sites and the associated comments thereof; more often than not these comments clearly show how the average online video watcher can’t understand the basic themes presented to them… and I cry a little.
