Sundance 2012 Wrap Up

I had to cut my Sundance a little short to make sure that I was able to get home in time to prepare for Australia this weekend.
I want to thank Bing, Tweethouse, Sony, Backstage, Screen Actor’s Guild, and Blackhouse Foundation for showing me an amazing time.
I especially want to thank Matix Clothing, Native Eyewear, Ergo, and Snowlizard. Thank you guys for the gear it looks great!

We Heart Japan

New piece of art I’m selling at the weheartjapan.com benefit art show. This illustration depicts the traditional Tanuki, a cheerful good luck icon in Japanese culture often associated with sake / joyous times, standing in fear of an unknown danger. I wish all my cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends in Japan my love and support.
Sorry for the reflection, no good angle on glass. Item is one-off on canvas, framed, suspended in glass. Signature is black on red in the lower right quadrant.

Sundance 2011 3D

Just got back from a one day whirlwind at Sundance. I want to thank all the awesome people I met for a great time. Thanks to all the party hosts, specifically Cadillac, Parnassus Group, Microsoft, Indy Mogul, Raleigh Studios, Playboy, Avid, and whoever else I might be forgetting. A big thanks to my friend Chris Arnold for shooting down to Park City with me for one hell of a 36 hour run.
Microsoft threw down with a bangin’ Cee-Lo concert in their Bing Lounge. Part of which can be seen here in 3D (Supported formats are anaglyph, side by side, checkerboard, and top/bottom):

Super Happy Tokyo Love

I’m going to be displaying some art pieces at the Super Happy Tokyo Love event, sponsored by Intermixi, at the Royal/T Art Space in Culver City, CA on May 8th, 2010. Fringe will also be giving away Tentacle Grape merch to attendees.
The event runs from 8pm to 1am and features DJs:
- Keith Myers
- HYJNX
- DJ Sherrycat
- Count Ninjula
Tons of other artists will be showing awesome stuff like my friends Pinguino and Stephanie Sheh.
I’m not sure right now if I’ll be able to get to this event due to some print deadlines and travel schedule, but if you’re in LA please stop in and check it out.
