Dekker forces Rob to OBEY
I was very happy to be invited back to the Boston Sci-Fi Marathon. This year I forced Rob Gordon to go with me at gun point. The event was fantastic, as always. We chatted with Ben Rock for a bit. Rob judged the Tin Foil Hat Contest. I got to introduce “The Thing”, one of my favorite golden age movies.

We had so many great experiences on the first day. io9 has been lovely, the first Emissary debut was a huge success. My whole cast, Phil Morris, Thaao Penghlis, J LaRose, Yuri Lowenthal, Aaron Douglas, and Brian Thompson were all there with me. It felt really good to do a panel with my friends and debut a series that Phil and I believe in so deeply. We moved a lot of soda (lol) It’s been crazy but we all have been having a great time.

NYCC and DreadCentral etc

NYCC starts soon and I just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the official Pre-Con party at the Times Square Dave and Busters. I’ll be joined by Phil Morris, J LaRose, Aaron Douglas, Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Connor, Joe Quesada and the rest of the Emissary running crew. Julia and Vogster will also be representing.
At the convention itself the Emissary panel is Friday @ 6pm and Dreadcentral.com will be giving away Tentacle Grape soda as long as it lasts!

Just got back from Sundance ’09! The photo is of the whole gang at the Rock Band lounge. From left to right (kind of) it’s Mina, Sarah, Yuri, Aaron, Steph, Boris, Tara, Mike, ?, Me, Julia, Matt, Sean.
We all stayed in an amazing condo that Yuri and Tara found. Boris was in the film Cold Souls, so Julia hopped over and watched that with him. I only got to see shorts program IV.
