You’re probably here because you’re looking for L’Aldila Restaurant at the Cassadaga Hotel. Because I am no longer involved in the L’Aldila Restaurant (please see related posts), I have removed domain hosting for Laldilarestaurant.com from the Fringe Majority servers. The owners of the restaurant need to claim this domain through their own registrar. It’s unlocked and waiting for them to claim it at no cost to them. All of the files from their old site can be downloaded here as a rar file. When they decide that their online customers are important, I guess they’ll get around to it.
But in the meantime you can circumvent their laziness by calling L’Aldila, Restaurant at the Cassadaga Hotel, via phone at 386.218.3806
If you’re not a “people person” and don’t want to talk to a live operator you can download their files (linked above) and grab the menu from there. It’s in PDF format.
But a word of caution, L’Aldila is no longer the restaurant that was featured in articles like this and the Alchemy Parlour is a thing of the past. Ask questions before planning your visit and potentially being disappointed. The Cassadaga Hotel is still a spectacular place to visit and I highly recommend them.
Obviously this redirect will be a thing of the past if the owners of L’Aldila decide to be proactive and take ownership of their domain. It’s waiting for them, but they’ll need to establish their own hosting. It’s unreasonable to assume Fringe Majority would continue to keep their website up at no cost.
L’Aldila restaurant, is now in poor hands I’m afraid to say. I was pressured to sell out my portion from my ethically shady business partners. It’s likely for the best, due to on-going sexual harassment complaints on one of my partners. It’s a serious issue and he refuses to stop touching and abusing our female customers. They also deal in poor work conditions with the food, when not under the watch of Jean Carlo, being sub-standard at best. I would avoid it entirely if the cook Pietro is working. I’m so sorry to all of my regulars and to the Cassadaga Hotel and Cassadaga community. I love both of those places very much and wish them nothing but the best. I’m shaken to the core, but it’s better I got out now then face litigation later for the misdeeds of improper partners. I will miss L’Aldila and Cassadaga very much.
This is an excellent lesson on when to cut your losses and on choosing the right people to be in business with.
Had our first art meetup at the world famous Kaiju Sushi! We’re excited to keep doing it with the goal being group gallery events and a real tangible art scene that matters to the major markets. Our next phase is a hackspace meetup for engineers, software devs, gene hackers, life hackers, and anyone interested in tech. We want to use the brain trust of young talent in the central Florida area and the valued experience of now out of work space agency experts to build a true business incubator. Let’s kick start the local economy using our collective skills! Patent workshops, virtual speakers from the tech industry… use our hackspace to connect with the world right in your own backyard! We’re not going to sit by and watch a generation of talent go to waste. Get involved! Start your own local space and connect to ours. We want all artists, musicians, engineers, writers, and thinkers to know that we’re all together. Let’s make something happen; something we can call our own.
Some of my favorite panels from Mondo Atomic: Plan 9 drawn by Zane Degaine. The neon is so sexy and sunset strip. I love this vibe. Zane’s really an amazing colorist.
The official trailer has been posted by Quiet Earth and shown over @ Attack of the Show http://goo.gl/SqnVe.
