Well, this is an interesting online comic by Jorge Cham on the CERN super-death ray accelatron. What’s really cool is that it lays down, in very easy to understand terms, exactly what the large hadron actually does. After the recent incident of an Indian girl killing herself over fear of a space-time distorting singularity gobbling up the Earth, I think something like this is much appreciated.
