Friction Surf and Skate, L’Aldila, Mondo Atomic

Hi everyone! Sorry for the long time and no blogging. You can always find me on Twitter and Facebook. Just an update…

I started a restaurant called L’Aldila, in Cassadaga Fl. You can read about it here. I have subsequently been bought out of it, but it still lives on. I’m very proud of what I set up and the mood that will continue long after any of the people involved are gone.

That leads me to my next venture… Friction Surf and Skate! It’s an active sports shop in Florida and carries brands I love like Mystery, Rogue Status, Famous, DTA, Dunkelvolk, and more. We’re also the home store of Jeremy Johnston, 2011 Western Atlantic Surf Series Champion. The store is also innovating the retail space by using telepresence software, like Facetime, to allow shoppers from all over the world to browse our actual inventory, talk with human sales reps, and place orders.
