L’Aldila Cassadaga
I guess I’m no longer a part of L’aldila Restaurant in Cassadaga. It really bothers me. I loved all of the people in the Cassadaga Hotel (and still do). My wife and I built that place from the ground up, refinishing the bar, placing the vines, I hand-painted the signs. I truly loved it. I’ve always been interested in the occult and Cassadaga was the only place I would’ve ever considered placing L’Aldila.
My partners and I aren’t on speaking terms. They’re not interested in the metaphysical, they’re interested in a quick buck. I feel sorry for them knowing that the very special things around them will never bring them joy, but they got what they wanted. Me out and them in. Greed pure and simple.
If you visit L’Aldila, please ask about me. To all my Cassadaga friends, I’ll miss you dearly, but I can’t even stop in for a visit. It hurts too much.
I’ve signed papers that should remove me from their business, as I’ve already seen too many things I don’t care for in how they treat their employees, etc and don’t want to be a part of it. I’ve opened and closed a lot of businesses and I’ll NEVER allow that kind of awful treatment of employees to go on under my watch. Forcing kids to clean mold without a mask! Screaming at unpaid volunteers!
Pietro Capuano, Vincenzo Capuano, and Chad Schilsky should all be ashamed of themselves. Karma is a killer.
