I’m sick of it all. I admit I liked it at first. I liked it a lot. But Dr. Horrible, Venture Brothers… all of it is so boring now. I’m sick of the comedic daily problems of action adventure cliches. We can take it out of the toy box again in a few years, like that old ragged Monopoly board, but it’s so lame right now. Creators, you might not think it’s lame because the only time you see people reacting to it is at conventions and they’re just the psychotic uber fans of… and we love them for it, but they’ll like it forever. They’ll always buy the DVD and the DVD box set and DVD box set with new commentary and the Blu-Ray version… they’ve already been sold on it and they’ll always love it. Sure, the press will make you feel like everyone loves it because let’s face it… the press all want to be creators. Comics, TV, Movies… they really want to suck up to you so that they can be like you. They won’t tell you the truth. No, it’s the public at large who are bored and tired. Let’s give it a real go. Let’s quit cold turkey and try to make more good stuff that isn’t so self-referential.
