The Arcadian
Summary: In a dark future world where the human race has abandoned a dying planet, those who are left behind face horrors old and new. Priests of strange religions, slave traders, and warrior clans creep further out from their urban strongholds. In the forgotten north a single warrior who has left his life behind keeps a silent watch over the people of a small coastal town, until fate brings him back to confront a monster of his own making.
Filmed in a retro style that has been compared to Kubrik’s work in classics like The Shining and A Clockwork Orange, The Arcadian is a love letter to the far out science fiction of 1970s. Showcased on G4′s Attack of the Show, Quiet Earth, Sci-Fi World, Cinehouse UK, and Spain’s Septimovici magazine, The Arcadian stars J. LaRose (Saw series, Repo!), Lance Henriksen (Aliens series, Millennium, Appaloosa), Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum, That Thing You Do), Brian Thompson (Buffy, Chuck), Sab Shimono (Southland Tales, Waterworld), Deshja Driggs (Poundcake), Boris Kievsky (Cold Souls), and many more.
